AgileKhan Pty Ltd ACN 631 628 834 (Agilitie) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information and sensitive information which it collects and holds. We recognise that the information we collect is of a highly sensitive nature. we have adopted the highest privacy compliance standards to ensure personal information is protected.
Agilitie complies with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant privacy laws which govern the way in which organisations (such as Agilitie) hold, use and disclose personal information (including your sensitive information).
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain:
- the kinds of information that Agilitie may collect about you and how that information is held;
- how the Agilitie collects and holds personal information;
- the purposes for which Agilitie collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information;

In this Privacy Policy the following terms have the following meanings:

Agilitie is committed to ensuring all of your personal information is afforded the highest level of protection and so for the purpose of this Privacy Policy and our privacy practices, no distinction has been made between the handling of personal information and sensitive information. Therefore, all information will be referred to as ‘personal information’ throughout this document and offered the same higher level of protection that ‘sensitive information’ and ‘health information’ is afforded under relevant privacy laws.

The types of personal information that Agilitie collects from you will depend on your relationship with us, the nature of the service we are providing or activity you are involved in and the legal obligations we may have and we will only collect information which is necessary to facilitate the provision to you of services by Agilitie or to appropriately manage, conduct and oversee Agilitie’s business. This may include (as applicable):
- Clients
Agilitie collects information from you to facilitate the provision of services to you. This includes collecting personal information such as your name, address, your health history, family history, past and current treatments lifestyle factors, and any other information which is necessary to assist the us in providing appropriate care.
- Practitioners, contractors and employees
Agilitie collects information from you which is necessary to properly conduct, manage and oversee Agilitie’s business. This includes collecting personal information such as your name, address, professional experience, qualifications and past employers, and any other information which may be necessary to appropriately conduct, manage and oversee Agilitie’s business.
If you do not provide to us any of your personal information that we require, we may be unable to provide you with the services you are seeking or to otherwise work or transact with you.
3.2. How we collect personal information
We will usually collect your personal information directly from you, however sometimes we may need to collect information about you from third parties, such as past employers and referees.
We will only collect information from third parties where:
- you have consented to such collection;
- such collection is necessary to enable us to facilitate the provision of services by Agilitie;
- such collection is reasonably necessary to enable us to appropriately manage, conduct and oversee Agilitie; or
- it is legally permissible for us to do.
If we receive personal information about you from someone else that we have not requested and we determine that we would not have been permitted to collect that information under privacy law, we will ordinarily destroy or de-identify the information.
3.3. How Agilitie uses your personal information

Where possible and practicable, you will have the option to deal with Agilitie on an anonymous basis or by using a pseudonym. While Agilitie takes all reasonable steps to protect the privacy of your personal information, no data transfer over the internet is 100% secure. When you share your personal information with Agilitie via an online process, it is at your own risk.

You have a right to access your personal information which Agilitie holds about you. If you make a request to access your personal information, we will ask you to verify your identity and specify the information you require.
